HAMAL BHAVAN SUBSIDY SCHEME

To promote the construction of rest house or Hamal Bhavan for use by the Hamals or hard labour functioning in the APMCs, the MSAMB has announced a subsidy of 25 % of the cost or maximum of upto Rs. 2 Lakhs, whichever is less. The subsidy is given to the beneficiary through the APMC for construction of Hamal Bhavan in their Market Yard. The use of the facility shall be restricted to Hamals and other market functionaries for taking their lunch, rest etc. If the construction of Hamal Bhawan is undertaken by the Hamal Union then the subsidy proposal has to be submitted through APMC and the subsidy will be routed through the APMC.
