INFRASTRUCTURE
The state of the art facilities at HTC include the administration
building, classrooms, demonstration halls, library, hostels,
restaurant, utility building (pack-house, pre-cooling, cold
storage facilities), technical building, and range of poly /glass
houses, educational equipments, an auditorium, and recreation
facility. At HTC we have 8 different types of polyhouses (including
a glasshouse) for the purpose of imparting knowledge and practical
training to the trainees in cultivation of flowers and vegetables.
Of the 8 polyhouses, 3 polyhouses and one glasshouse are being
procured from the Netherlands. The existence of wide variety
of protective structures will demonstrate the differences in
crop growth, quality, and yield through climate control.
